The Brief
This family garden was designed for our client with bio diversity in mind. We were invited to construct it for them and know it will bring happiness for years to come.
The Solution
The main feature of the design is an oak pergola extending over the decking, surrounding an outdoor office. the decking is thermory treated pine.
A jetty juts over the main wildlife pond that feeds a stream into a lower pond. The planting around the pond and stream is a mix of edible and ornamental planting. A species rich lawn to encourage insect life combats drought. The wlidlfower meadows envelope the planting and play areas.
Harvested water feeds an irrigation system to water the garden and vegetable garden that is protected with a walk in fruit cage.
